Keep on Partying, but First…

Bit Bash is always working to create an amazing experience for the independent games community in Chicago and beyond. Bit Bash events are all-inclusive, harassment-free environments, so please get acquainted with our Code of Conduct and Media Policies. Festival participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the festival at the discretion of Bit Bash organizers. Tickets will not be refunded if ejected from the event for violating our policies.

Anti-harassment Policy

Bit Bash is dedicated to providing a harassment-free festival experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of festival participants in any form.

Harassment includes verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the festival organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the festival. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of festival staff immediately. Festival staff can be identified by wearing official BIT BASH t-shirts.

Festival staff will be happy to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the festival. We value your attendance.

We expect participants to follow these rules at all festival-related social events and venues.
